Super cool friend Calic did some really dope mash ups of some Good Amount songs off of Impulse Try and In A Quiet Way. He sent them over and called the small little EP he had made Queit Impulse, so here is a really exciting collaborative effort! Check Out Calic on the first Holy Page Compilation and check him out here

Holy Page Records 2011 Compilation

Holy Page is the brain child of a dear friend, Christian Filardo. What started out as an internet label a few months ago has now transformed into an awesome tape label. To help raise money for future Holy Page releases, Filardo has put together an eclectic compilation that is available for download and on limited edition tape.

The compilation is definitely worthy of purchase. It features noise jams, punk jams, ambient jams, pop jams, and everything in between. It is an amazing testament to Holy Page to make all of the different sounds work together so effortlessly with such an amazing flow.

Some of the standouts from the comp is the pop punk jam “All My Friends Are Dads” from Phoenix hero Dogbreth, “On Yr Lips” from North Carolina cruchy lo-fi punks Boy Party, the jerky post punk of Portland’s Karen on “Nuclear Moms and Dads,” ambient indie pop from Phoenix’s St. Ranger on “Shark Week,” Tempe’s Girlhood brings the ambient noise-y dance jams on the bass thumping “Purity Kiss,” the Navajo Rez’s Discotays supply some minimalistic ambient vibes with “Blankets and Beads,” and to round off the compilation with some experimental noise punk is West Phoenix’s Naw Meen with “Frogitus and Droneicus Splieces the 3rd.”
